MECHWARRIOR MECHWARRIOR MECHWARRIOR

By that logic, you can have a single small pulse laz0r and kill everything.

I liked to just outfit as much PPC’s as I could and maybe some Gauss cannons, blast everything to oblivion in a single shot.
Not very efficient, but fun.

By the way, they’re going to make Mech Warrior 4 and all it’s expansions downloadable for free!
Just keep an eye on it here: https://battletech.catalystgamelabs.com/

Apparently they are making Mech3 freeware in the coming weeks.

Totally works in MW4 as well.
Did not try it in MW3 tho.

I hope they would.

Welcome to three days ago, population : you.

What I meant is that the AI is pretty stupid in MW3, and most of the time you can kill everything 1000m (or is it 800?) away with a ER Laser and they’ll just run left and right.
So no, by that logic, you can’t have a single small pulse laz0r and kill everything :stuck_out_tongue:

HOLY FREAKING SHITT!!! but its too late: https://www.mechlivinglegends.net/ <---- Crysis MechWarrior mod.

I never played MechWarrior only MechCommander(strategy version of MechWarrior). Remembering back then, the biggest and badass of the “Mechs”(Giant Robots) were the Clan robots. They were different than the regular Mech’s because they had the latest technology and had a bigger holding capacity than a regular Mech, meaning they could be outfitted with twice as much of armor, weapons and jet packs than a normal Mech. The skull robot is a clan Mech which is why it was soo hard for the player to defeat it.

This game requires more thought than just your basic shooting games. You can customize your Mech and you need to make decisions. Do you want to make your Mech fast (light armor and few weapons) or do you want to make your Mech slow (tons of armor and lots of weapons)? What weapons do you want to out fit your Mech with? BECAREFUL: if you add powerful weapons (powerful weapons overheat when repeatably used e.g. big lasers, high pulse cannon, big rockets) your Mech will shut itself off to cool down. If you add less powerful weapons ( weak weapons dont overheat when repeatably used e.g. machine guns, small rockets, small lasers etc) your Mech will not shut itself down. There are other things like Jetpacks, a cooling system (cools down your Mech if it starts to overheat) and armor blades, drones, sensor radar systems and a radar system that will disable the enemies radar system.

I really hope we are given the choice to play either as an air or ground unit. Imagine the possibilities. Sick of playing as a Mech? Then play as a fighter jet pilot and blow up enemy Mech’s from the sky. Or play as a ground unit like a tank or a heavy armored soldier and try blowing them up from a strategic stand point.

And half of it is actually wrong.

Wrong. Atlas is Inner Sphere.
You tool.

Leave it to gay shit like MechAssault and crysis conversions. You can never get bored of piloting a freaking robot that freaking blows up shit.

Good point

catapult was the most usless mech ever invented, but I still hope its in 5, it was probably the most badass looking mech in the series.

A picture says a thousand words…

Breaking out an old sig

Ah fuck yeah! I was gone for a couple days and come back to see this. Brilliant!

I’d be happier with a remake of Shogo: Mobile Armor Division tbh, but well, I guess that’s out of the question.

Mechwarrior’s still good though.

Totally wrong. Learn2lance

I was never good at mechwarrior. lol I absulutley HATED missiles of any kind. I liked to load those beasts down with balistics and lasers. I used mauler and the ocational nova cat.

even if there are 5xLRM 20? With lock on and shit? :stuck_out_tongue:
Daishi:
2 x Clan Gauss Rifle
2 x ER Large lasers
5 x LRM 20

And you’re in, kicking their asses from afar. You don’t need that much armor and speed, just sheer firepower.
Just alpha-strike the fucker.
In MP, if you are backed by couple of close range LBXers, it’s invincible.
1 on 1 are also great given that you don’t miss the first shot.

Clan Gauss Rifle = fail. Waste of tonnage.
Clan LBX AC 10/20 = win.

Yeah, say that again when I have you in my sights from 1,5 km away.

the gauss rifle and LRM 20s are great, provided you hit first, and have good backup mechs, I preferred the lighter and faster weapons, boost some armor and speed and almost always take jump jets when avaliable. of course as I said before, I’ve never been good at mechwarrior so there may lie the issue.

Then you are a typical brawler. Always good to have a couple in your lance, but they usually die first.

Mad Cat Mk. II, modified for CC, is the best choice ever.

or original Mad Cat with streak SRMs instead of LRMs. But it does not have Jump jets, which is bad.
