Just decided on pre-ordering the Steam version. It was pretty easy to decide when they waved a free copy of LA Noire in my face. It’s gonna be a while until I play it though. Still going through the first Max Payne’s, in fact finished MP1 just last night. And then I might play American Nightmare before Max Payne 3 is out, then after Max Payne 3 I might get to LA Noire. Yay for free games you’ll never get around to playing!

Was thinking of skipping class on Friday for this game because it’s the last test of the class and I can afford to get it dropped (one test is dropped), but I just looked and there’s also a separate quiz that day that doesn’t follow that rule, so I can’t .

So I’m downloaded the pirated version to maybe have some of the game downloaded since it doesn’t look like there’s going to be much of a preload and I’ve got almost 50 MBs .

I don’t see why Rockstar would promise a preload if it was impossible. I just wish they would tell us what’s going on instead of just telling us that the preload will be soon (with less than 20 hours left).

Edit: It’s going pretty decently now. Not sure if I want to keep this going or stop it in hopes of a preload later today.
