Max Payne 3

MP3 is currently $90 AUD on Steam right now, and I can’t find a cheap Steam cd key anywhere. Is it worth paying that much for?

Awesome tip, cheers

I’m curious who else here got the digital Steam version of MP3, and how long did it take you to download?

Because for 29Gb, It really didn’t take me as long as I expected. It took me about 2 and a half hours on FiOS, which came as a surprise to me. Did anyone else experience a pretty fast download?

The servers were pretty consistent for me too actually. First time i tried preloading steam said it was too busy. But once it got going I got a constant 1-2 mb/s, which is pretty good for a big release(in every sense) on my connection.

I don’t know how long it took. But I was expecting it to be downloading overnight, and, well, when it was done by 1am, I had no choice but to stay up

Just beat the campaign. Boy, it escalates pretty quickly towards the end. Prepare to rage a lot at the frustrating checkpoint system.

how long is the campain? Knowing MP games, I suspect I’m nearer the end that I really have the right to be already

Got the game now, but I’m too busy to try it out right now.

How long did it take you?

About 7-8 hours, if you’re a fast player and aren’t looking for collectibles and dying a lot.

Yeah I was doing the same actually, was gonna leave it on overnight but then I saw it was going 5 mb/s and I was like O_o

I really gotta replay MP1 and 2 after I finish this. Oddly enough, for some reason I got Max Payne 2 for the Xbox way back even though I played the MP2 demo on PC.

Also can you play MP3 at all without logging in to RGSC?

I was able to download most of it at school with a download speed of about 4MBps but then I had to go home and use my 1MBps speed. All in all I think it might have taken 4 or 5 hours.

Everyone who has it should all play a round of deathmatch or TDM or something, like a BM community event

Sure lol

You guys should go to the Steam forums and see all the retards on there screaming about the game. It’s pretty entertaining.

Edit: Has anyone here noticed any mouse acceleration? There’s a lot of people that say they have it but I haven’t noticed any.

BM community game could be fun, I mean we’ve been doing it with TF2 for years

I haven’t, in fact aiming has felt pretty good, although it is kind of annoying how it lowers the sensitivity for slow motion, but I’m kinda used to it.

I did get blamed for hacking in one DM game, so maybe they were having problems with mouse acceleration :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s there. It’s not noticeable unless I make a quick turn, and suddenly I’ve spun like, twice as far as I wanted to.

For example I’ll be standing there, I wanna spin maybe 90* and suddenly I’ll be facing teh wrong way. But with smaller movements I can’t seem to see any faults

Just beat the game. Holy fucking shit.

I actually expected it to be a lot shorter. But my god was this game brutal on hard, yet at the same time it’s one of the few games that managed to still be done with me dying so much

Yeah, I’m on hour ten and still haven’t finished the game. Was expecting it to be around the same length as the first 2: like 8 hours. I am playing on hard though, and dying a lot so that might be adding some time.

I am on medium and I still on 5th mission I think, multiplayer is addicting.
