Max Payne 3 is alive and still on Brazil

Played the first two game, loved them. Can’t wait for third.

Well, at least he isn’t bald anymore.

Thank Christ they decided to keep the voice actor. IIRC when it was first announced, they’d decided to drop the original Max’s voice actor because he didn’t sound old enough. I think they might just have redeemed themselves on this game.

well he’s certainly old enough now

Where is the noir style? Where is the norse viking mythology? Where are comic cutscenes?
This is blasphemy! This is not Max Payne :’(

:frowning:

It doesn’t have to be dark, snowy or rainy to be noir, it’s just in the direction and delivery of script, acting, camera angles etc.

I still think I’ll wait for the reviews for this one. No way I’m preordering.

Play the first one with the kung fu mod

Max: “Where´s Lupino ?”
Vinnie: “Screw ya!”
Max: “Bad answer, Vinnie…”

I like both games …can´t wait for the third :stuck_out_tongue:

A little touch that I loved; The way the dialogue on exiting kept changing.

One of the many, many, many awesome things about these games. I for one doubt that MP3 can match the Remedy games, but we shall see. It’s promising to see he actually has hair at some point in the game :retard:

I loved the main menu music in MP1

I still listen to it sometimes.

Late Goodbye is still my favorite end credits song of any video game. Sorry, Portal.

Man, a while back I looked up Poets of the Fall who performed it, and damn, if they’re not an incredibly awesome band in their own right. They’re one of my fave bands now.

I advise you check them out.

Oh, I actually got their entire album after hearing the song.

I got their entire discography :retard:

I think my fave song is carnival of rust or liftactually.

They’d better have some Poets of the Fall in MP3.

Or get flaminco guitar tracks to ironically contrast with the firefights.

I wonder, how the nightmare levels will look like in MP3 …and those songs aree good

Let’s hope they’re closer to MP2’s- the nightmares there were delightfully bizarre. MP1’s nightmares were just… lame platforming things with blood trails.

Well, each nightmare have their own meaning.

max payne has sharp textures and nice effects for a 2001 game

I always throw a grenade into the hole in the wall at the start of the 2nd roscoe street lvl, then the rats are armed with desert eagles :stuck_out_tongue:

Brazil can be quite rainy, you know.
