I haven’t done that yet, but I’m tempted to do a playthrough where everybody dies (even Shep), just to see what happens in ME3, with Sheppie dead and TIM with the base. I have heard ME3 should be easier for renegades, though…

I had read somewhere that you would play as a different character, as in, not Shepard, but some other marine. It would have been cool, I guess - hearing people comment about all the cool stuff your Shepard did in the past :slight_smile: But it seems like it’s not gonna happen.

Bioware has stated before that the Mass Effect series is Shepard’s story. So, if your Shepard died in ME2, that’s the end for that character. ME3 won’t let you import that save. You’d have to import a surviving Shepard or start a new one. And yeah, playing as anyone other than Shepard wouldn’t make sense.

So, who here made sure to save the whole team so you can see what happens to everyone? Who lost people but is just going to live with the consequences?

I saved the entire team on my first playthrough. I was never intending to carry my second play onto the third game, so I experimented a bit and ended up losing Legion. Feels bad man, Legion is one of my favorite characters in anything ever.

lol sorry Savant but I’m with Maxey on this one. I didn’t care for a number of ME2’s characters, but Jack was definitely the one I liked the least. If I had lost just her I wouldn’t have gone back to do the ending over again, not even to satisfy my completionist desires. :stuck_out_tongue:

Jack’s badass; how can people not like her? I mean aside from the fact that she’s a blatant caricature of an unbalanced criminal. In all seriousness, there are worse characters. Zaeed, for example. Or Kaidan.

I can’t remember much of what I did in ME2 anymore, was the collector base where the final fight took place? and when/how did you chose to give it to martin sheen or not? was it just a dialog option?
