Haha I just hit on Miranda.
I should try someone else my next playthrough.

To keep your fish from dieing:
Spoiler:
[COLOR=‘Black’]Talk with the yeoman until you get the option to have dinner with her. Talk with her some time after that, and she’ll remember that you had fish and offer to feed them for you. You don’t have to continue the romance sub-plot after that if you want to romance somebody else.
The elevators maybe combined could add up to an hour but none of them where seriously long.
Also, WHY THE FUCK DIDN’T THEY FINALLY SHOW US WHAT QUARIANS LOOK LIKE. I thought they walked around without their suits on in their fleet? /ragequit
Anyway, I always complain about fanboys but I’ve made an exception with Bioware, they have yet to let me down.
From the Mass Effect book Ascension:
'Seeto shook his head. "We rarely take off our suits, except in the most private settings or intimate encounters."
'"We work hard to maintain our ships," Isli added from up ahead, "but the chance of a hull breach or an engine leak, remote though it may be, is something we must be constantly and acutely aware of."'
I was annoyed too, though. Part of the reason I decided to romance Tali in the first place was so I could see what the quarians look like! Not to mention that besides Miranda I didn’t have any good options. (Morinth - crazy, also dead in my playthrough. Jack - also crazy.) . Unless you can actually get with Kelly besides just having dinner, in which case she would also be a good option.
Now what I gotta try is playing a female Shepard and romancing Garrus. That ought to be interesting.
Elevator loads on PC are very fast. Usually they go by before I can read what the screens say. Loading times for missions/areas are of course longer.
Finally! Made it through the suicide mission with zero casualties. Very little difference in the cutscene though.
…
The loading times (except for the Normandy Elevator loads) are totally faked on PC. The fact that they ALWAYS take the exact same amount of time is stupid. Sure, sitting through the airlock cycle once was cool, but my computer’s really powerful, and I ran a resource monitor during a load, and it dropped to zero about five seconds in, and remained there for the rest of the screen. In the screens, it barely flashes up before I’ve loaded the next deck.
I’d say the loading screens added a good two to four hours to the time I’ve spent on this game.
In the suicide mission Miranda was the only one who died for me, which I’m kind’ve glad for because she was the only character I didn’t like.
Right on.
I didn’t do so well on the survivability. I think 2 crew members died. I’m currently playing through on hardcore and it is A LOT more fun. I’m finding more creative ways to kill people. I’m still sad there aren’t any grenades in this game :’(
Ah, okay.
the Citadel gunnery chief makes me lol every time. “That is why, serviceman Chung, we do not ‘eyeball’ it! This is a weapon of mass destruction! You are not a cowboy shooting from the hip!”
hell, the whole game is full of awesome dialog. and anyone else notice that the stores play sim city 4 music?
Anyone get Mordin to sing a song? He’s quite good.
I did. I was quite impressed he could sing that well considering he can’t speak in complete sentences lol.
That means, Sir Isaac Newton is the deadliest son of a bitch in space…
I dare to assume you ignorant jackasses know that space is empty. Once you fire this hunk of metal, it keeps going til it hits something. That can be a ship or the planet behind that ship. It might go off into deep space and hit somebody else in 10,000 years.
If you pull the trigger on this, you are ruining someone’s day, somewhere and sometime.
Love it.
I don’t even know in what ways you can get your crew members killed. I managed to keep em all alive. This requires a second playthrough!
I’m guessing that it had something to do with the fact that I didn’t bother to recruit everyone. For example, I never recruited Legion because I don’t like the Geth.
Legion’s kickass. He does the robot.
I love how Legion calls you Shepard Commander instead of Commander Shephard.
Its a freaking robot, therefore it has aimbots (although technically not, since it isn’t 100% accurate, but it’s damn near close to 100%, so I guess you would call it excellent accuracy bot) and saved your ass on the derelict reaper. Why wouldn’t you want to recruit him?
I thought it was rather cute.
My reaction was more like, “Holy shit.” In a good way though.
Also, Legion rules. Wish we could get him earlier .
