I’m going through my fourth or fifth playthrough now so I can get a good start off in ME2. I’m going to kill off that asshole council and do everything else possible to make the Humans the dominant race in the galaxy. It might take a while though, since I’m playing on Insane difficulty, which is impossible to beat if you don’t load all your weapons with HE rounds.

personally my computer could never really handle ME1 (shooting certainly wasn’t fluid or fast), so I hope ME2 is better optimised; still gonna buy it though.

The PC version of Mass Effect 2 does not have any anti-aliasing options, and for some players the Nvidia control panel will not force AA on the game. Also, SLI may not work properly. If you have one or both of these problems check here:

I got working AA with catalyst control center and CrossfireX works fine (CFX logo appears in top right when I turn on the CFX usage indicator setting).
Mass Effect 2: Yes.
Btw it works really nice, and if you use NVidia, you can set AA options (Or any other video-related options, for that matter) for the game through the NVidia control center. A good tool to have anyway.
