Can someone tell me please, how this is implemented?
You see this effect in CS:S and L4D for example.
Is it a kind of a dynamic prop?
Thanks for answer!

It’s a particle effect if I’m not much mistaken. At least in L4D, can’t seem to remember any in CS: S.
You are referring to the falling leaves, right?
Thanks!
Exactly!
Do you know a tutorial?
Thank you!
By the way: Is it also possible to make a similar rain splash effect like in L4D with this particle editor (without coding)?
So that you have splashes on normal textures and props and waves on puddles?
I don’t think it’s possible without coding.
If you still want to try it, then this link is rather useful (although there were still some problems):
https://www.interlopers.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=28306&hilit=rain
You can also make custom particle effect, there’s a tutorial for that here:

Why not?
I saw an older particle benchmark on youtube for example and there it was already possible.
I think you only have to create the particle effects for it.
Btw: Thanks for the links!
