MAG

No PC version, no buy.
/thread
But seriously, I’m a die-hard PC gamer, I can’t aim with those effin joysticks for my life.

Here’s a 256 person battle in MAG at E3 2009:

noob

You’re sure that many people are gonna buy it from your school alone? I think teh number might be slightly lower, there’s also the factor of people looking at a preview in a mag, going, “aww yeah, that looks cool”, and not actually reading the article, stupid as that may be :stuck_out_tongue: Then saying, “oh, yeah, I’ll get that”. They may get it, but based on the kind of attitude they took at first, will part of the group of people that drops the game quickly.

I’m not exactly sure why the older PC equivalents of this like Planetside went under, would be interesting to look into, and see if any comparisons can be drawn, or predictions
.

That was poorly worded. I was saying if I were the developers.

Don’t worry, no one else can, either.

Except for millions of Playstation 3 and XBox 360 gamers.

But they’re all console-fags so they must be stooooooopid, amirite?
[/sarcasm]

I do mixed, pc and console…
I feel I am just as good on both xP
that looks chaotic, remembering battlefield games and COD games, 256 sounds like a way of just seeing bullets, hearing explosions before finally seeing some people and splat you are dead.

I play consoles too. I meant that no one can actually aim the way you can in PC games. In my experience it’s sorta like moving the joystick toward them, and hoping you can stop at your target without going past it or falling too short. And since it’s a joystick, you can only move it so fast, so your reaction time is limited.

The PC is without a doubt the best interface for FPS/TPS/RTS games, but I find the controller to work just fine. It depends on how well the developers make use of sensitivity options. Plus, there’s a “weak auto-aim” feature (ie, not like GTA’s auto aim) that makes aiming slightly easier.
Halo 3, for example, pretty much has perfect aiming controls, and I’d say I’m pretty good at that game when I get into it.

The game sure sounds interesting but I don’t have a PS3 nor will I buy it for this game.
Also stop arguing about stupid shit and talk about the game.

Thats why they put in a chain of command systems and dynamic objective based TDM.

.

im just wandering if Microsoft is gonna do anything similar to compete, although ps3 have only had one respectable exclusive and that was MGS4.

just makes me wonder if they’ll make a big game.

I’m not a PS3 fanboy, but even I know that’s not true. Off the top of my head, Killzone was pretty big, as was the wonderful Little Big Planet. Don’t forget Uncharted either. I’m sure there are more, but I can’t remember them
.

halo 3’s auto-aim was ridiculous, modern warfare 2 has some but not loads. can sometimes be annoying, when it comes to multiplayer all aim assists should be removed, but still its not unfair play if everyone has it. :retard:

i dont see what uncharted was all about, its a poorly developed TRU with a combat system that makes link’s awakening’s version on the gameboy respectable.

  1. You still were wrong about the single exclusive though
  2. That’s your personal opinion of Uncharted, I think you’ll find sales figures prove otherwise. fyi, I was talking about Uncharted 2 mainly
  3. Don’t double post
  4. Since when did Halo have strong autoaim? I’ve never noticed anything of the sort when playing
    .

since birth.
when your next on it, have 2 people in one match one standing still with aim on someone, then the other person moving in front, youll see theres a lock-on, this only occurs when the recticle is red. and can drag your aim alot.

that rarely happens though, but when it happens it is blatant and highly annoying.

CoDMW2 has disorientations from that at times (some enemy runs past you and you hit the knife, doing a 270 spin because of lock on).
