With NS2 and BM being delayed indefinitely, the only indie game that didn’t disappoint me in 2009 is Love. It is going to be in open Beta on Thursday. Exciting, cutting edge stuff here. 
Looks interesting, but I except a lot of penises to be built in this game.
AFAIK you can only build cubes, hollow cubes, trenches, and walls. But I have no doubts that someone will figure out how to build a penis eventually.
After all, what’s the point in an OC-driven game without penises?
What is “OC-driven” ?
Original Creations/Content, something like that. Where players make their own stuff.
Oh…Love doesn’t really involve players making their own stuff as far as I can tell, it’s more like an MMO tower defense, except the AI also has its own base and the only way to get more weapons to defend your base is to steal them from the AI.

I for one bought this game. It’s confusing as shit but somehow fascinating.
i bought into the alpha and played it a little and it seemed really cool and beutiful buti never got into it for some reason??? ill try again sometime
tbh it isn’t a very fun game at the moment, based on my ~5min of playing so far. But I have extremely high hopes for its continuing development.
yeah it seems super neato cool and i dont regret contributing a few quid to a lone nuts crazy project even if i diddnt have much actual fun

Update on this, the game has become extremely fun and addicting sometime in the past few days.
Most of the bugs that were pissing me off earlier (spawning underwater, drowning, spawning underwater again, drowning, etc) have been fixed, although there are still occasional bugs and crashes. The developer is constantly working to improve the game, and basically posts a message to his community on Twitter every time he puts in new working code. I can’t recommend Beta testing this enough, it’s going to be massive once the rest of the gameplay issues are worked out.

I was tempted in buying it, but then I realized I had to pay monthly fees. I don’t care if they’re just 3 bucks, it’s just because Paypal’s a bitch with monthly fees when you don’t have a credit card.
