We’re perhaps not getting things because you aren’t nearly as eloquent as you seem to think you are. He didn’t call you a girl (and is that really an insult) but merely said you were acting like one.
Oh, and as for your second edit, people getting frustrated trying to explain things to you and giving up doesn’t count as you ‘winning’ so you can leave the ‘I’m at you’.

I can very patiently wait for this mod. There are numerous games coming out, even if they suck, that i can play while i wait. There is even another Half-Life recreatation mod called Lambda Source, or something like that. And that mod was developed by like, 5 people. They still require some C++ programers and such, but when it comes out, (most likley [U]BEFORE[U] Black Mesa) i will probabley waste my time playing that mod. And all the others being realeased almost everyday on moddb.
The irony, it’s like a cock to the face.

Ok, since there’s a massive amount of useless info here I’ll just ask… Is there ANY new info on the mod? Not asking when it’s going to be released, just curious if we know anything new or are we still in “shut up and let us work” phase…
I really dont think there is anything important to know. They are writing code and developing shit…theres your information about the mod.
The mod isn’t finished yet, but it will be. Thats all you need to know.
rorriMAesU said it right. They are developing a mod. They need time to develop it rather than making a fancy beauty render of something. If you want media (The old ones) look it up in the media section. And NO. THERE WILL NOT BE MEDIA UPDATES.
ok im new here but i ve been watching the black mesa scene sometime now…well my only reasont to forget it sometimes is due to i leave it as it is…just let it come out whenever it comes…CAUSE it has to come then, OMG guys…are you paying for this? ;p no… from from what i know and its totaly free! jesus christ! i prefer wait for it and not get a buggy version or something…

I don’t think that the devs owe us anything, they’re making a free mod in their own time and they deserve lots of praise and respect for the awesome job they’re doing.
However, I do think that their attitude towards the community is poor. Having set a release date of the end of 2009 and failed to reach it (presumably due to the large amount of work still needed), they were then dismissive of the community’s reaction, if they bothered to respond to the forums at all. The lack of media updates is understandable if they’re working on Xen, but even an occasional message from the devs just to say “we’re still working on the mod” would go a long way just to reassuring the less rabid members of the forums that the devs haven’t forgotten about the community. I think it says a lot that by far the most prolific dev on the forums is CatzEyes, who doesn’t even have access to the latest build of the mod.
In short, I think the devs deserve a huge amount of respect from the community, but the community also deserves some acknowledgement from the devs, who don’t seem to care about their huge number of supporters.
