LORD PLEASE HELP ME

Okay, I’ve just purchased Alpha Protocol from Direct2drive.com… I know they blow… but I’ve used them in the past without any problems.

After installing the game, it asks me to use my activation key… but it does not work… I am getting Error Code: -1912029.

Direct2drive has NO PHONE SUPPORT… and they seem to be refusing to email me back.

SEGA has NO PHONE SUPPORT.

IGN ENTERTAINMENT has NO PHONE SUPPORT… well I can’t get a hold of anyone.

I’ve posted on the Alpha Protocol Forums and no one has responded, I think its dead.

Online it says there is a patch to download to bypass activation, but it also says that " If purchased from STEAM or Direct2drive the patch is already updated and there is no need to download "… I tried that anyways and then it would simply get a Critical Error within 3 seconds of trying to open the game. I had to reinstall…

I am just PRAYING TO THE LORD that someone on this forums perhaps has purchased this shitty game from this shitty website and had the same shitty problem and might be able to help me.

Please if you have any possible idea as to how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

Steam goes without saying but GMG tends to have games at lower price and runs some crazy discounts on games you can activate on Steam.

Check your firewall logs to see if that’s the problem.

Woah, I had no Idea that you could trade in your downloadable games on Greenmangaming, I may actually use this from now on. It seems worth the investment considering all the PC games I buy and don’t play anymore.
