Logo Help

Ok, I’ve been trying for ages to come up with a decent logo idea for my (registered) company, FireSoft.

Here’s my latest concept:

I feel like I almost hit it with that one.
An older one:

Older logo back when I was just doing local businesses’ websites:

Basically I’m not happy with any of these. Please, help me out in some creative artistic way :retard:

Uh, the FireSoft one is cool, but the url text must be changed.

…They’re all FireSoft ones :fffuuu:

I personally like the last one the older one. It looks the most professional. Although, the only gripe I have is that they all look very digital, which could be intimidating to someone technologically impaired. Or maybe I’m just dreaming. But if it’s an opinion you want, you got one. Hope that’s helpful!

I like the latest one.

the first one

I’d lay off the generic “glassy” look. It’s called firesoft, why not get creative with flames, sparks, or something?

^This.

I like the first one the most.As per colour combination and graphics that is the best one.I think that you should pay attention for the following points for logo selection:
Consistency
Contrast
Professionalism
Timelessness
Differentiation

What are your goals for this logo? Do you want to use it for print (like inquiries, bills, communication through conventional mail), or only for monitors?

Also, seeing as it’s for web development, I’d suggest you come up with an illustrative logo as well as text, so you can use the illustrative logo on the pages you make without taking too much real estate with your entire name/url (just put the logo there and link it to your site).

Something like this, but less cheesy (it’s a huge-pixeled flame :frowning: ):

I say use the panzerschreck

Ask ramirez to create it using a wooden spoon and a pitchfork…

or am i just trollin?

^Troll spotted.

sorry couldnt resist

I like the top one and the bottom one, though the web address on the top needs its font changed.

though i say mix the flame effect from the bottom one with the top one and see how that turns out

And with those 2 links, all I can do is hope that you don’t go for any of the ones you posted in your original post, because they’re not proper logos.

Yea, go for something symbolic and memorable, a word is not likely to attract someone’s attention or become synonymous with your business, whereas a symbol might.

I’d suggest drawing up a spider diagram with a list of word associations from what springs to mind when you think about what your company represents, and then seeing which of those ideas would be developable.

Good luck, I’m sure you’ll come up with a good logo!

EDIT: I was thinking about this. Perhaps, a disc with flames in some way? Just to see how it would work out, it would fit with software, or perhaps you could do something with a webpage and flames?

Although, even though all of the suggestions in this thread are to use fire in some way. Perhaps trying a different approach would be beneficial? After all, the worst that can happen is that you have to scrap it.
