Ok I fixed it on my first post.

You can also post freeware and open source software on this. The objective is to have a very nice list of programs available to all community members by direct link on this forum.

Not really a program, but the Qt toolkit - qt.nokia.com
All of my other stuff has either been listed or is linux-only

There’s a ton of other non OS freeware that I could list, but I think listing steam, etc isn’t really what you had in mind…

Video Download Helper firefox addon

It handles a lot more than just youtube videos. It can’t do everything, but it can do pretty damn close.

7-Zip - Allows you to extract files from zip, rar, and other files like them.

Jashaka is just horrid. Who ever compiled the installer sent quite a few .dll files to the wrong location. Not to mention I dug through all the folders and still can’t find one of the .dll files.

Winamp is superior.

Also, pidgin instant messenger and SUPER video encoder.

Paint.net it’s simple photo shop program.

Has good support and many addons to advance it’s capabilities.

It’s name is also it’s website.

P.s. Don’t believe it’s open source, but it is 100% free.

+1 Foobar2k is the best audio playback utility i have ever come across. There is so much you can do with it if you just explore for a few hours.

Never need to use another download manager/accelerator or youtube downloader, ever again.
