Legions: Overdrive

Legions: Overdrive is an attempt to bring life back into the FE:L project, shortly after development was halted by late company InstantAction. Development has since been outsourced to a community dev team formed mostly of private testers when the game was in alpha/beta years ago. It’s currently available through legionsoverdrive.com as a free game.

The game play involves fast paced CTF with inherited mechanics from the Tribes series to match. Although it’s been criticized in the past for lacking depth, the development team is working to remedy this.

Still, I’ve seen alot of skilled play than in most shooters nowadays. There is a great requirement for coordination of positions in the game as well as strategy, and the Offense vs Defense standoffs are very exciting. In general, I like how it isn’t run and gun.

Brink costs 49.99 on steam, this is a free (better) game. Give it a try.

AKA Jumping: The Game

Fixed.

It involves more than just that though.[/SIZE]

Looks alright.

Saw a video for it that used the inception soundtrack, didn’t fit. D:

Here’s the site, since the OP so gracefully didn’t provide it.

wut

Not clickable != not providing it.

Welp, that’s what happens when you skim through posts.

At lest mine is clickable

Good point. Laziness FTW!

Unless of course you get to be a dick and point out small errors. Because that’s one of the main reasons The Internet exists.

Yeah it was a slight oversight by me; I’ve edited the OP to make the link clickable.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
