So what do you all think? i thought the first one was good, but theres something about it, the graphics look poor, game play felt cheap, and the thing is, its built on the source engine? so why not the type of feel as half life 2? i know properties can be changed but, i just want your views on it.

L4D2 is complete and utter bullshit! Really Valve? To be honest the first one wasnt that great and and for the most part L4D2 is just a reprint. The graphics were cartoony and there wasnt much depth as gameplay goes. Definitely not worth $60. The fact that they made a second one is ridiculous! Not to mention its only been a year. From what I can tell L4D2 looks like it couldve been a mod. They’re just riding the gravy train, I would never expect valve to stoop as low as nintendo. I always held them in high regard, but this is beginning to make me second guess them as a company.

Uh… most people actually liked L4D, I think you are in a minority there.

Also, while Nintendo has been… uh… selling a lot of silly 3rd party junk, most of the games with their label on it (Zelda, Mario, Metroid) are still very good and completely worth buying.

The new Mario game could have been done in about a easily in this day and age. It’s Super Mario Bros. 3 with 4 player co-op except it’s even easier.

Also, they released another Mario Game “Bowser’s Inside Story” at almost the exact same time so they balance each other out… probably. I’m going to assume that logic works and go away.

Was a bit skeptical when they announced it so soon after the first one. But I do enjoy it, and I do feel that it deserves to be its own game. Greatly enjoying LAN with my friends :3
