Last Film You Saw

That’s a pretty fucking dumb statement.

One, because Dredd exists.

Two, because South Korea has been pumpung out fucking amazing stuff. They’re like how Japan was in its peek.

yeah i probably should have specified american films i guess and also im using a very vague but narrow definiton and also talking mostly shit

what are cool south korean movies ive only dipped in as far as oldboy and pals and some shitty monster things.

before we move from japan has anyone not seen all the tetsuos

i actually have not but i’ve been meaning to. looks v cronemberg and im hell of down with that. a rad japanese movie from not too long ago i would recco is Big Man Japan

Idi, is there any particular reason you use so little punctuation and capitalization?

iron man and bullet man. Haven’t seen the body hammer.

Not from Korea or Japan but The Raid: Redemption was a pretty awesome albeit ridiculously unbelievable action movie. Well, it’s more like a kung fu flick but whatever. If you like to watch cops and robbers beat the tar out of each other for a couple hours this is your movie.

Wreck It Ralph. Pretty awesome, and I loved the glitch effects and references (Characters, Konami code etc).

Yeah, saw it and loved it. You know, it was pretty much 1:1 ~the formula~, but it worked because of the setting and the characters.

I always had a problem with CG-animated movies in that they’re usually obnoxious and claim they’re funny yet aren’t, but WIR really caught my eye because it was going for something original and it actually looked good. I may rent it some time.

I actually haven’t watched many movies recently. I haven’t finished watching Trekkies and I’m not sure if the first episode of Airwolf counts as a movie (it actually says it is. I’m dubious).

…Are you not familiar with Pixar?

or pre Shark Tale - post Shrek 4 Dreamworks?

Also, yeah. Pixar. Incredibles. Come the dick on.

GI Joe: Retaliation

Simply good

I was thinking about that.

Hey, no need to attack me, I’ve seen good Pixar films, but I’m just saying that there are a couple things about some that bother me.

pixar films are pretty formulaic and over reliant on a kinda cynical emotional manipulation imo

thats fine tho because they are for children

There’s this french movie called rennaisence. It’s awesome.
