I saw Catching Fire as well. I liked it, I guess. Hated the cliffhanger, though.
According to fans of the books Iāve talked to, Mockingjay is basically a slap in the face to anyone who liked the first two books, so brace yourselves.
That doesnāt really mean the movie will suck, though.
The Man With The Iron Fists. What a stupid movieā¦
I enjoyed all of em. But the third wasā¦unexpected in many ways. Yet appropriate in my opinion.
Space Mutiny, again through MST3K.
For a moment I was thinking that the spaceship design was oddly similar to the original Battlestar Galactica. Nope, they just stole footage from BSG.
doublehue, yep
That⦠doesnāt help. [COLOR=ā#151515ā](Actually, it does, but just very little.)
It ties into the Guardians of the Galaxy movie. The next marvel film after CapāMurica 2.
Not a movie but Iāve been watching The Wire the last few days, probably one of the best cop shows Iāve seen.
^ Damn good show. How far in are you?
^Season 3 now I like the Hamsterdam plot line so far, but not as much as I did the dock workers one.
Iron Sky
Nothing beats space Nazis, turning black men white with āAlbinonizerā, powering a giant spaceship with a surf pad and causing total nuclear world war over moon resources.
The political jokes were good too.
I just rewatched that movie too, in fact. Love Iron Sky.
I also watched both tomb raider movies and the first two resident evil movies. Video game movies like these are weird; I watch them, and usually think āhey, that was pretty goodā, but then I look it up and apparently it was literally the worst movie ever made and everyone hated it.
Just watched it thanks to your intriguing description. Was not disappointed.
I pretty much hate the RE movies now that Iāve played the games, but I donāt really see anything wrong with Tomb Raider.
The adaptation of āSands of Timeā was actually pretty good for what it was.
The Hobbit part 2. It was good.
Watched Justice League: Doom and Batman: Year One on Netflix. Pretty good, though they were more like extended TV episodes than full movies. Year One was especially odd, I guess since it was paced more like a comic than anything, with very short sections compiled into a story. You can see clearly the elements Nolan used as a basis Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.
