Discuss. Or not. I don’t care. [COLOR=’#171717’]I do care @____@

rexcellent! dynamic carnage and various models for the same enemy class are the staples of devs who give a little more than two shits about how fun THIS customer has

early access get

Awesome

I just hope that gore system doesn’t get it refused classification in Australia

Oh, you know it will, super hard.

Well, I’d know if the Classification Board wasn’t so inconsistent…

Gothic 2 rated “M” -> Risen “Refused Classification”

Risen was RC because of drugs (swampweed) that give XP (and mana?) and the brothel / prostitutes… both of which were present in Gothic 2.
Risen was never released through retail here and can’t be bought on Steam (yay GOG and GamersGate).

Gothic 2 also had sex “as a reward” for a quest, which was what got The Witcher 2 censored here.

Left 4 Dead 2 “Refused Classification” (later censored and “MA”) -> Dead Island “MA”

Left 4 Dead 2 was RC and later censored due to violence. Dead Island was just as violent (if not more), I think.

I wonder if Killing Floor 2 will retain accurate hipfire?

The way they handle blood by dynamically modifying the level’s textures is REALLY REALLY cool, and the gore system sounds intense.

Sadly wave based games have never appealed to me all that much (original KF really didn’t do anything for me), so I might not get to enjoy the technically impressive game because of my personal preferences ):.

I thought borderlands was a boring game but with friends it was quite enjoyable.

GUNS GUNS GUNS

now all it needs is a larger variety of characters

Is it just me or is that really really really really cool? I thought about this a while ago with CS:GO, it’s really annoying and noticeable when your bullets leave the barrel at a 30+ degree angle.

I get the feeling the only reason Valve hasn’t fixed the problem is because the CS community is so rabidly anti change that they can’t accept even a positive, and simply aesthetic, modification to the game’s core features.

tat’s why I play insurgency :3

I think that (and the higher “difficulties” of the red orchestra games) absolutely nail it with free-aim. I think that’s just the way fpss should work.

I need to change my pants, brb.

So early access released today and it’s fucking awesome.

EDIT: Also, I wasn’t a terribly big fan of the first one (though I typically played that on solo play) but I’ve been playing this online and with the far more streamlined perk ranks, the weapon handling, the gore system, etc. this game is straight up excellent.

Also I listen to most of the bands that they have as background music (that you can turn off if you’re not big into metal) so that’s the icing on the cake.

Keep this in mind.
