Kelly Bailey has left Valve?

Left 4 Dead has music?

VALVe game doesn’t have music?

The music is the best part of TF2.

TF2 has music?

Well, suicide isn’t really the answer, in my opinion. But I don’t know about you and your psychological processes. So feel free to kill yourself if you want.

That p.columbo is a real cool guy, he doesn’t afraid of anything…

This is a sad day

Well no the other gut is still an awesome composer as long as he doesn’t try and give Half Life a theme song…Half Life has no theme song 0_0

I vote Amon Tobin does the score to Episode Three.

Clint Mansell would’ve also created a fantastic score for the HL series.

But it has to be Electronica, not orchestra. That’s why I loved the Half Life music, it was different to other games.

The guy who did music for timesplitters could be a good choice.

Valve will find someone else.

In all actuality, valve probably found someone better before Bailey bailed.

I loved a lot of the songs in the HL series but I think like said above, I’m sure Valve will find someone else.

oh thank god, for a second (with the timing of this thread) I almost thought the findings in my Nepal Monastery hunt got him canned

So what we have. When Kim Swift, short time employer, have left Valve, all news boards has reported on that event and all people begin discussing. And when a great compositor, which were with Valve like all along from the roots, which make all the music and sounds in Valve games on a masterpiece level, have imperceptibly left a company. And nobody from Valve doesn’t give a fuck for reported that. Fans noticed that accidentally, and when contact Valve for that, they reply “oh yeah, he left a while ago.”… Nice, very nice Valve.

Just because you don’t know how it happened in-house doesn’t mean that Valve doesn’t give a fuck about it. Maybe he wanted it, in this way. Not making it public. He wouldn’t be the first.

Oh well…better start listening to the suit-song instead of lighthouse defense/vortal combat/everyothertrack.:’(

Joel… Nielsen!

No following valve track has ever topped these.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
