For those who don’t know, there was a coop mod being developed for Just Cause 2 a long long time ago. It suddenly disappeared, and the rumor had spread that they received a C&D and scrapped everything. This was not the case.

I was really looking forward to this. I always wanted a coop experience in an open and over-the-top game like this, and here the fuck it is!
Looks pretty sick, those types of games are always better with Coop. Reminds me of how much I wanted that Crysis coop mod to come out

That mod’s cancellation is the reason I’m really excited for this one.
Actually it was revived a couple months back with a new trailer, and apparently they got the actual AI working instead of a hacky workaround (animations were still buggy though) but they haven’t updated in several months Though the creator says they are still working on it, so one can always hope.
I might buy JC2 if I could convince some friends to get it with me.

Wow. I guess it’s time I picked up a copy of JC2, I know some people who play it who would really enjoy COOP.
Wow, remember following this a long time ago. Good thing they’re still alive and well.
OH MY GOD! If only I had friends who also played JC2. w/e getting the mod anyway.
