Gears was awesome, gameplay was awesome, story was awesome, it also made sense.
The multiplayer required skill unlike most multiplayer games nowadays cough COD :MW-BO cough
Meh, I just have a personal preference against hiding behind chest-high walls constantly save a few moments when you shoot someone.
In real life combat situations you’ll be praying for some chest-high walls to hide behind when the lead starts flying around.
Yes, but I don’t play video games to experience real life combat. Real life combat involves praying day after day that a bullet doesn’t kill or mutilate you, and that you will live to see your family again. Video games involve fun. Chest high walls do not provide an optimum fun dispensing experience.
if I was forced into real world combat I would probably camp, prefire at every corner, hide behind teammates, throw as many flashbangs as I can get my hands on and scream HAX right before I die.
Also I would spray tags everywhere.
This is 100% better than Call Of Duty games.
Am I the only one who can’t stand that “Oh lol, x y or z is better than Call of Duty lmao” trend? Everytime I watch some video on youtube about some FPS game, the comments are flooded with “oh lol this game is better than cod lmao”.
Christ, WE GET IT! You think CoD is overrated. Who cares?
It’s not that for me, it’s the people that play em’, (and the storyline ;P).
It’s like a 1/over 9 thousandd!!!1!1!1one!111!!eleven!1111onethousandeleven!1!
chance to find a match with out people that aren’t either racist, duche bags, or a little kid that likes to talk alot of shiz.
“bo-bo-booring”, “I am an enemy”, “I am ALSO an enemy”. Lol, this make my day
I love the level up announcer
I don’t mind multiplayer taking skill, but I don’t like how Gears uses the Counter Strike approach to matches. It’s a lot easier for me to learn what works and what doesn’t when I don’t have to wait a long time to respawn, usually forgetting the finer points of what exactly I did wrong and the other guy did right.
I know what you mean, thats why I’m glad Gears 2 had a vs bot mode so I could practice.
In Gears 2, even though it had modes where you could respawn, I still didn’t like the way MP felt.
I loved Horde mode, though, and I think it’s cool how they’re taking it a step further and L4D Versus Survival’ing it. I just didn’t like the way either game was balanced for MP, and thought it was fun and well balanced in coop.
And there was no scrappy annoying iron sights mechanic!
I agree… that’s what does it for me. Titles he gives are genius.
