Not to mention the image on it.

Holy heck I remember having one of those Sound Blaster !Live Card in my comp. And I think I still have it somewhere!

Edit: Yep I have it, and I also have a copy of Janes’ WWII Fighters! Oh and I remember playing Tribes too! And Motocross Madness!

Fuck yeah ati rage FTW

Ha. $350 for a card that barely runs Half-Life. hahaha.

Hey, it runs perfectly fine at 320x240 SW mode.

I even managed to run GTA3 on it, and it ran at a whopping 0.3 FPS

Maximum PC December 1998.

Why are the threads getting more and more lame?

You’re lucky you’re not having a nostalgia overdose right now.

I am :frowning:

Does this bring back those good ol days?

USB speakers ewww:

Haha and the speaker had a built-in usb sound card, so if someone had a sound blaster with those speakers they were dumbass of the year.

I started this thread in hopes of getting a collection of Half-Life or Half-Life referencing ads that has early art work from the likes of Greg Coomer, Dhabih Eng and others.

Preferably original magazine scans instead of stuff from google books…

Edit: E3 1997!!!

I can’t wait till 10 years have passed when I’ll be laughing at the fact that I ever owned an Intel Core i7, 4gigs of ram and an 4870x2.
