IRL personality vs. internet personality

How does your real life personality differ from your online personality?

Online I’m ultra argumentative talk shit in games and very often not polite or friendly to people I take a disliking to. coughDotardcough IRL, I am almost unconditionally friendly and polite. I am very argumentative in real life too, but I keep it in check because whenever an argument arises I get swarmed by idiots hollering non sequiturs and not letting me get my two cents in. I act very social when forced into social situations such as school, but I generally try to avoid social occasions, especially large groups.

I’m the same in IRL as here but here I’m actually more controlled on here because I have more time to think.

Puts on flame suit

So this is you controlling your stupid?

I like to think the way I act on these forums is like someone with multiple personalities seeing as this account is used by more than one person.

(but don’t tell anyone it’s a secret)

I am the same on this board as I am in real life.

It is, but I am entirely capable of having a professional conversation when the time comes around.

I’m a lot more passive and much less of a dick in real life. The internet just brings out the best in me I guess.

I’m such a nice person online, but I’m a huge dick in real life

IRL I spy on my neighbors.
Online I spy on my neighbors.

So…

Any way, bms makes me do such stupid things, because no one know who you are.

A bit of a dick?

A bit.

No difference for me. Don’t see why I should act differently on the net, anyway.

IRL: Silent, depressed, Norwegian
Internet: Active troll, suck at English

No difference for me.

I’ve always though if you feel the need to act like a twat online, you should probably take a closer look at your personality…

I’m a pretty silent person IRL

I’m a big faggot that doesn’t like anyone, but IRL I’m just gorgeous

I don’t think that ‘troll’ means what you think it means.

The word you are looking for is ‘retard’.
