I’d read about this earlier, and seen the actual game in an Apple press release vid but just found a nice video of the tech demo to go along with it…

Unreal Engine on the iPod. I shit you not, and it looks pretty good. This is just a tech demo you can get for free in the app store, but the real game is coming out soon. This game is pretty damn amazing, and better than anything I’ve seen on the PSP, but that’s not surprising.

Also, I hate how people are like “lol apple so cool” when this is completely an achievement by EPIC games.

with its smaller resolution, decreased polycount in object (uneesecarily large for an un-viewable resolution, unless zoomed) It should be possible, BUT end result eh?

Ehem. In all seriousness, IMO, the iphone needs a controller(or maybe just triggers) to be at all compatible with fps’s. For me atleast. Truthfully, such a peripheral may be fairly successful if created and released.
