Well, it’s awesome news, maybe i can jailbreak my iOS 4 untethered in the near future 
If I ever buy an iPhone, I want it to be jailbroken by the one and only SwampFox.

If you’re referring to the antenna. It doesn’t effect everyone. Still a problem nonetheless but people are making a HUGE problem out of it. Sprint still has shittier coverage here in the states or at least in my location, so I think the reception of the iPhone 4 is great.
Also, I’m going to laugh at people who jailbreak theirs before the antenna fix is released.
I went to an Apple Store and tried it. Sure enough the phone I picked up had the problem, only in order to make it happen I had to hold it in a way I wouldn’t normally hold it. So in other words, even if I got one that had the problem, it wouldn’t affect me, so when I get my upgrade in February I’m definitely going to pick one up. Should be easier to get ahold of one by then anyways.

I’m not saying it’s bad, I’d buy one right away if I had the cash 
. But when I’m about to spend that kind of money on a mobile phone I want it to be flawless. I’ll stick with my 2G until they fix the antenna, screen spots and reversed +/- volume buttons 
. There were also some problems with tap-to-focus or something…

Supposedly they’re fixing the antenna issue with a software update which I’m installing now. Can’t wait to read up on the press conference they’re having today too.
They’re supposedly fixing the antenna issue with a 500mb software update.
The screen spots are only wet glue from manufacturing that go away within 3 hours of opening the phone to air and use.
The +/- issue is few and far between because I didn’t hear of one issue when I picked mine up.
Touch to focus works just fine for me as well.
People are better off waiting for the later revisions of the iPhone 4 anyway…
