iPad

Its from apple, so people assume that they’ve added something and revolutionized something or other and it will somehow massively affect something.

I’ve had an archos 7 for a week and I hated it mostly due to its large size.

I’ll just leave this here:

You can almost see Apple fanboys scrambling all over the web to declare flash “obsolete” and multitasking “unnecessary”. The iPad reeks of laziness and the knowledge that people will eat this shit up as long as it has an Apple logo.

There is no innovation in this product.

Which isn’t really a big feature for a tablet imho. The Wacom Cintiq works brilliantly without multitouch

I wish for a google android tablet.

Nobody draws with two pens simultaneously, so it’s not necessary for digital painting hardware to have multitouch. HOWEVER, Wacom, is starting to use it in their products, i would be surprised if the next Cintiq didn’t have it.

Exactly. I could get something similar with a less flashy, but more fully-featured OS 5 years ago.

plus multitouch isn’t really practical with a screen that big and a device that heavy.

Sadly I agree. I’m a huge Apple fan, but this is just terrible. I think they really struck out with this one.

Why the iPad will kill the netbook (and the Chrome OS)
^-
Read up and have a laugh. Netbook killer? He can’t be serious…

Honestly? Not much.

Have you ever used a netbook? Or learned english?

More like trying and failing…

Is it a big thing since its a cell phone + a tablet pc? Like you have to insert your cell phone’s micro chip into it?

It’s actually neither.

It’s a block of glowing plastic and wiring.

I named my iPad Moses because it parts my red sea.

I would hardly call the simcard in a phone a ‘micro chip’, it’s a piece of plastic

iPad; a shiny turd is still a turd.

steve i am disapoint

I had to at least try it. Even though it sucks.

Oh, and “iPad” sounds like you’re saying “iPod”, only you’re from Wisconsin.

I take it psyborg’s been added to the list, then?
