Introducing The Test Chamber, The Black Mesa Livestream Show

I’m kidding of course. I learned my lesson about rushed work years ago. :stuck_out_tongue:

That said, I do hope this continues for quite a while, assuming the idea works well. I’ll bet the community would love to hear first-hand what the devs think of their content.

I’ll be at work at that time. Cruddy need to have money for things… Hope you guys have fun!

Could you specify more about the timezones?

Please just say which UST/GMT (Coordinated Universal Time / Greenwich Mean Time) offset it is and if you’re factoring in daylight savings time or not. I can’t tell if EST is -4 or -5 hours. I’ve done the math with multiple sources and am getting a range of three different hours.

where is the stream?

Balls I’m still in hospital, will you be uploading the stream footage to YouTube afterwards?

Yes. I will post here when I have something.

Thx for the stream! Was cool

Thank you for answering all of our questions! I’m sure everyone appreciates all of the communication from the development to the community.

I’ll be looking forward to watching the next livestream soon

Here’s the VoD on twitch incase you missed it. Youtube VoD coming up within the next week or so.

What did you guys think? I was a tad nervous going in, wasn’t sure how this was going to go, but I think it went well.
Any feedback is appreciated.

I think it went great, I had a lot of fun playing with you guys. Can’t wait for the next one

I slept all day, so I’ll have to check out the recording ASAP. I can only view the first half right now. :frowning:
Hopefully I’ll make the next one, and have some feedback.

Had to sit for a while so the VOD would load but I’ve just finished watching and here’s my feedback.

So first livestream, awesome! congratulations for a start, this is hopefully the start of many!

Talking about the patch notes was a good start, introducing the recent changes to the game to get everyone up to scratch, nice!

As a first livestream and BM still in it’s infant stages on the workshop, some segments are going to be a little small and that’s fine, from what was shown I really enjoyed it, I liked the mod spotlight and the discussion taken place, you not only showcased a mod but put your personal opinion into it, I liked that.

Although playing a game with the fans is good fun, I feel like the Q&A was a bit let down by this, as your focus is on not getting killed instead of the questions being fired at you, will it only be 2 members on every livestream? if so then perhaps you could look at a screen switch in future to alternate the views and take it in turns answering questions while the other/s play. (last part of the VOD won’t load so if you did something like this then please ignore me)

I’d like to bring up my suggestion for a dedicated thread for questions again though, so you can grab some of the most asked questions (that you want to answer) so you have some meaty stuff to fire out first, then you can focus on chat or even twitter questions later on!

Really enjoyed it though Fr0z3n, looking forward to watching the next one (live hopefully!)

P.S

Oh, and the correct answer to the Opposing Force question was, No, you’re not making it, we are, you stay away

Watching Fr0z3n’s reaction to being squished into the railing was oddly hilarious to me. Like it took him a few seconds to process what happened.

I thought I’d edit the highlights of the stream into a 30 minute video if anyone’s interested.

Good first episode! Keep it up

When can we expect the next Test Chamber livestream?

Unless I get smited, June 4th.

And if you do?
