Hi all,
a few months ago the telekom(internetprovider, etc.) upgraded our village dsl to vdsl2 with 16000kb/s but the problem for now is that anyone in our village could get dsl16000 except us, because they forgott or didn’t want that we get the new DSL.
Means, while the neigbours can surf through the internet with 16000kb/s we only can surf with 1000kb/s … 
What to do now?

No, seriously: Call your provider! I say they simply forgot because of their unimaginable stupidity.
If you are paying the same as your neighbors for 16x less speed, you can certainly complain.

here is my house
as you can see it’s not far away from our neighbours and yes, we pay the same for this slow DSL.
And I have to complain, because they upgraded the whole DSL stuff here except for us.

Are you getting 1 megabit or megabyte per second? Because a 1 megabyte connection is nothing to complain about, a 1 megabit connection is though.
DSL1000 = 96KB/s ~ 100mbit
There’s a difference between bits and bytes. 1000 bytes = 128 bits, so a 1 megabit connection is a max speed of 128 kb/s.

You probably have a 1 megabit connection. You never get the download rate they say you will. That is the ideal connection under perfect circumstances.

If you honestly can’t figure out the solution to this very easy problem… then you don’t deserve the extra 15mb/s
The solution has already been said twice and you don’t seem to have registered it in your brain.
BTW, with a 16 megabit connection, you’ll get 2 mb/s down, which is pretty solid. Worth phoning them about.
