Import L4D2 map into SFM

So I’ve been dicking around with SFM and want to do something with a custom L4D2 map I made. Is there a way I can import the map and its textures into SFM?

Or to port the map to HL2 and use HL2 assets and then import into SFM? Atm Source SDK crashes when I try to open this map’s VMF, but not when I open other L4D2 maps’ vmfs.

Are you putting L4D2 content into folders like tf_movies or tf or hl2?

No, I’m trying to port the map to HL2 and use HL2 textures because I figured it wouldn’t be as simple as dumping the bsp in the appropriate folder.

i tried to add maps from hl2 too, and i found a tutorial but it looked too hardcore so i got fed up with it… there was a hex editor and u have to edit a lot of lines in the program

Also, does anyone have any idea why Hammer keeps crashing when I try to open the L4D2 vmf in HL2/TF2/HL2:Ep2 hammer editor?
