Adrian Shephard is in stasis and shall be there forever because the G-Man will not come back for him. As far as Gearbox is concerned, Adrian Shephard has been left for dead and is not making a comeback at all in any game whatsoever. He might come back in a mod but not a commercial retail/Steam game that you pay for. The G-Man won’t need Adrian again so Shephard is going to be left in stasis for eternity. Also Shephard has no friends because he is mute.

I know exactly how Shephard will come back, if it does happen.
If he comes back as an NPC, I’ll pile every explosive barrel I can find all around him and then fire an RPG right into his face.
If he comes back as the player character, I’ll grab an RPG launcher and then proceed to hurl him from the greatest height I can find. Right before he hits the bottom, I’ll fire an RPG straight down so he falls right into the explosion.
Then I’ll reload and do it again until I get bored and go back to playing Black Mesa.
Personally, I hate that this damn topic won’t stay dead.
