I miss windows 98

desktop yay

Yeah but is it so damn hard to run some sort of backup operating system that will allow you to (atleast) acces files from a harddrive. Especially with memory corruption the ‘repair’ function doesn’t work at all, which means you have to nuke the entire HDD then reinstall Windows. :meh: All that just because some kernel files got fucked up, would be much nicer if they had a backup system for such things.

Get a Mac, and GET OUT OF HERE!

People complain that OSX is too simple and you can’t do too much with it.

If you all love outdated shit technology why do you want BMS?

That’s like saying, if you like old books why don’t you fuck old women? They’re different things.

The point of Black Mesa looking better is to make it more realistic; the only thing Win7 has that XP doesn’t is a ridiculous RAM requirement, shinier buttons and 5 different popup warnings every time you want to change something - the API is pretty much the same. That’s why people prefer XP, not “because it’s outdated”.

It’s called nostalgia.

I don’t miss it, I have Win98SE machine standing next to this one. I practically never use it, but when I do, the advantages of XP become painfully obvious.

Get the fuck out.

GET THE FUCK OUT OF OUR PC CONVENTION!!!:fffuuu:

Everyone I know that has tried XP and Windows 7 as moved to Windows 7. There’s more to it than that.

I remember hearing that sound from my horrible 1 watt speakers.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
