I’ve been watching some multiplayer footage of the leaked build/ indoor beta tests, and I have to say I am VERY pleased with the shortened kill times. It really looks like Halo 2… but functional.

Forward Unto Dawn takes place in 2526, just after the Covenant War started and the SPARTAN-II program was not yet made public. That makes Chief 15 years old in the video, which is a good reason why they gave him a different voice from that in the games.
Halo 4 takes place in 2557, by the way.

The last level of Halo 3 takes place in mid-December of 2552. Halo 4 starts in July-ish of 2557. That’s right around 4 and a half years, or as Cortana puts it, “Over 4 years”.
