I got a Xbox 360, any recommended games?

I got a 360 pro(60 Gb), and Halo 3.
I already have the following on my list of games to get:
Aliens vs. Predator 3
Halo: Combat Evolved
Halo 2
Halo 3: ODST (hell yes!)
Halo Wars
Fable: The Lost Chapters
Fable 2
Fallout 3 game of the year edition
Left 4 Dead game of the year edition
The Orange Box
Worms 4 Mayhem
MX Unleashed
Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2
Lego Star Wars full collection
COD 4
COD 5
Red Faction: Guerilla
Unreal Tournament 3
GoW1
GoW2
Dead Space
Bioshock 1
Bioshock 2
Psychonauts
Prototype
Quake 4
Dead Rising
Mirror’s Edge

Can you recommend anything else?
Preferably a FPS or RPG?
Edit: Oh shit! Now Elites are selling for $300! If only I had waited…

Halo 2 really ain’t worth getting, multiplayer is much better in Halo 3, and the campaign is pretty shitty too.
CoD2 is good fun, as is Assassin’s Creed if you can get over the how bollocks the story is. And you’ve missed Gears of War off the list.
And obviously you’ll have to get Modern Warfare 2 when it comes out this autumn.

And I really hated Lego Star Wars.

GTA4 is awesome.

I like Halo 2 so I’m still gonna get it.
I don’t think Gears of War is gonna be on this list.
P.S. I added Red Faction Guerilla.

What in a God’s name posesses you to buy orange Box on consoles?

Seconded. You should really get it.

It’s a lot of fun, definitely not the worlds best game though. I love how they introduced a cover system though.

If it is made by Valve, don’t buy it on consoles.

Get Halo 3: ODST. Looks like it’s returning to the Halo CE formula, which is always a great thing.

It’s not necessarilly for me, I’ll still play it though.

I quite liked all the Lego something games, except for the annoying camera - and screen-relative controls…! The camera makes 2-player impossible at times, when one of you managed to jump a canyon but the other player missed the ramp, as it leaves them no room to turn round and try again without pulling the other player into the hole…! (Lego Indy for this particular example). Ended up switching back to 1-player for a bit just to get both characters thru at times.

Both Ninja Gaidens, both Condemned games, Dead or Alive 4, and Oblivion.

Gears of War and Gears of War 2, epic co-op!

Forza 2 and 3.

@Winged one: I love Fallout 3, but I thought Oblivion sucked.
@ Jambo: I’ve always assumed I’d hate the GoW series, but I never gave it a shot, so I will. It’s been added to the list.
@ OldDirtyBastard: Becuase I like the Orange Box.

I played the demo of the XBLA game 'Splosion man, a 2.5d platformer, I didn’t expect very much, but I liked it. I told a friend of mine to try the demo, and before I knew it he bought it and was playing it the rest of the game.

I thought the story was the best part of the game, as did many reviewers. I think you got the story and repetitive gameplay mixed up.

I’d recommend Assassin’s Creed and Burnout Paradise, but those are the only games I’ve played on the 360(other than GoW2, which the Horde game-mode was the most fun part of it for me) so don’t flame me for choosing bad games if they are :stuck_out_tongue:

Then you’ll do yourself a favor and save yourself $50 and gain 3 extra games by getting it on Steam.

Also, download Splinter Cell Chaos Theory off of Xbox Originals, fucking great campaign.

Phsychonauts.

fable: the lost chapters really isnt worth getting, it took me 8 hours to finish it and there is no replayability because you’ve seen pretty much all.

Assassins creed had a fantastic story. It was one of the greatest games of all time in my opinion. I recommend assassins creed 2,modern warfare 2,haLO 3 ODST,GEARS OF WAR,GEARS OF WAR 2,CALL of duty world at war, battlefield bad company.:freeman:And splinter cell double agent.

How exactly do you recommend three games that haven’t been released yet?
