I think it would be good for its realism if Eli was to worry for his family after the accident has occured. I mean if hostile aliens landed on your doorstep would you worry about who they would go for?
Except you meet Eli and Isaac before they know we are being invaded by inter-dimensional aliens.
He could be worried about his family because of all of the disaster that we can see, but not things that he has no knowledge of yet.
Weren’t there headcrabs teleporting into tubes on the opposite side of the hall Eli was in? Though either way I’d rather keep HL2 within HL2…

The devs will actually not have any HL2 references in BM:S, but it would be fun if Eli had another “Gordon and Alyx should make grandkids”-sentence. LOL this would make Eli want Gordon to be a pedophile!
