Humble THQ Bundle

I realize the each Bundle will more than likely get the same attention regardless of content. My worry is this evolving into a non-Indie thing.

Maxey may be right when he says the Humble crew has the final say, but anyone can be corrupted. No exceptions.

Ideally, the industry would evolve to a point when there are no indies and AAA titles, just fucking games to be enjoyed equally by everyone.

What he said. It really doesn’t matter that much what’s it’s labelled as, so long as there are good companies making good games.

Well indies and AAA titles are just ways of defining budgets to a degree and funding. To be honest indie if used properly is never a good descriptor. Given that Valve can put out titles that qualify as both indie and AAA. I’d like to see the games industry shift from “What can we fund that will make us the most absurd amount of money” to “This is an interesting project how can we fund it to make money” I dislike how a lot of gaming has become this its either AAA or indie what happened to the in between.

That said, big companies have to realize at some point that they don’t need to spend dozens of millions of dollars making shallow games when smaller companies are making more critically acclaimed games for a fraction of both the price of production and sale at a higher net revenue per sale.

Did anyone get a Warhammer 40k key in the bundle that they don’t need and would be willing to share :3 ?

I actually have one I haven’t redeemed yet. I don’t particularly have any plans to play it, so if you really want it…

If you would be so kind I would like to play the game. So if you’re not going to play it :3 .

I payed less than 5.76 (5.73) and checked my download page and still got the other two extra games even after the average price has rose. Is this normal?

Yeah, I got the extra game too.

Edit: Kariouseki, I PM’d you the key. Have fun!

I don’t get this AAA vs Indie stuff. As Surplus said, why can’t we just have a middle ground, like AA or something?

AA would be the portable console market. Or at least, it was before all the consoles started using this rechargeable battery shit.
