^ Back at the end of 2004, when i first heard some mod team was undertaking the recreation, I remember wondering what hl1 would look like in source, and I actually imagined this exact hallway (with that zombie) in my mind.

Back in '04 after playing HL: S and realising how “un-updated” the game was, I typed “Half-Life Source sucks” into google, clicked on a forum thread, and someone in there said there was a new mod called “Black Mesa: Source” that was going to remake HL1 properly.

I found it by the Steam Forums.

Then I forgot about it for a couple months and then a friend told me about the mod again.

It is weird but google.uk gives out different results than google.de.
If you do the search on google.de and click the very first link you’ll see a guy in the board is advertising for BM in a post (pretty much at the end of the page). Who knows what domain he was using.
