There’ve been a lot of retards around lately. I mean, more than usual.
Upload all the MLP episodes, Place a 3 second annotation on a random episode at a random time with a private link to download it.
This way, all the bronies get a download and all the anti-bronies/non-bronies don’t.
OR post a hidden link on Equestria Daily and make everypony agree to not re-distribute it to anti-bronies in order to download it.
Why the hell are people so obsessed with that show?
I have no earthly clue. I like it because…I just do. I try to keep my pony-ism to the bare minimum outside of the usual pony sites and other various pony related places because honestly I know it can get incredibly annoying after a while seeing pony stuff constantly for a lot of people.
On the main page under WHEN WILL BLACK MESA BE RELEASED? I would make the “it’s done” a link to the download.
Release it discreetly on the wiki, then in either a week or when word gets out to the internet at large (whichever comes first) make it a news post on the front page, add the link to the navbar, and sent it to various mirrors.
create hidden links on the home page. half a dozen bad ones and one good link that is the download link. the bad links crash your browser or something of negative effect.
no announcements, no updates, nothing. completely silent release. making a big deal something isnt Freeman’s style, thats not how he rolls.
I know it’s not gonna happen but it would be cool to release it secretly just for people who visit the forums a week ahead and then release it publicly. Though I can also name at least ten things that could go wrong with that as well.
Soundtrack release = 2 weeks before release iirc

I would upload it to one of those crappy “wait 45 seconds” sites where you can only download if you sing up the the advertisement covering the download button. But there will be multiple download buttons on the page and while only one actually downloads it, the others are like those trick ones that bring you to another download service…
But on a serious note, I’d update the site, wiki, Twitter, YouTube, and everything else. I’d have multiple mirrors to download it from. I’d probably split the game up too in order to save space. But what would really be nice is that I’d have torrent downloads as well. Just picture thousands of seeders on there. The thing would download so FAST!
I would release the mod in multiple sites, but each site would carry its own slice of the mod and so everyone would have to piece together the mod, like some kind of demented rubik’s cube, and hope that it works.
If it doesn’t work, the mod will delete itself and you will have to start the process all over again.
I would release the mod normally without any wacky hijinks behind it.
