No, I think racing Barney and Gordon on rolling chairs is something more within an 8-year-old’s abilities, not a toddler’s. Also, Alyx looks to be more in her mid 20’s, not early.

Regardless, Gordon is the physical embodiment of time, itself. So basically he’s the MIT graduate equivalent of Dialga.

The GameInformer article said it was 1998. I don’t know whether that’s now considered canon or not, though.

wait…hold up serious business time. lets assume that Gordon was put in stasis the day before his birthday(and, also for shits and giggles lets assume his birthday is June 14). then lets say that he is pulled out of stasis on November 4th. wouldn’t that mean his birthday is now November 5th instead of June 15?

i’m not disagreeing with that. i do think that’s his age. my thought is if he was put into stasis on the day before his birthday and then pulled out at a later date wouldn’t his birthday technically be a different day?

and also i looked it up again, the common consensus of Alyx Vance’s age is 7-9 meaning she is most likely a bit older than Gordon during half life 2(assuming a 20 year gap between games)
