60€
if BM wasn’t free?
I would pirate it. I normally don’t pirate things, but for the last 3 years, the dev team has been saying it will be free. going back on your word and making a free modification cost money is a serious dickmove.
/joking
but seriously, I would pay $20 for the game
Well all I have is this blank check made out to cash.
Will that be ok?
All I have is this trillion dollars bill.
Fuck.
i can beat up kids for some lunch money, will that be okay?
9.99 dollars
Enjoy your Ferrari.
EVERY time I see any of your posts I cannot help but listen to that song in your signature.
But yeah, I would pay £35-45 MAXIMUM. It’s really really awesome, but I’m not that fussed about playing it, there are other games out probably just as good.
I have read some minutes ago, one Post wrote by Artlav, where I found a lot of answers. And thanks to Artlav I am seeing that I was wrong a lot. Fortunately, now, I can undertand the Developers team´s life situation and therefore, I see that they are really busy. So, truly , Sorry a lot for my words, I am regretful
Finally I am still sorry for my english, and right now I would pay 34,19 € if BM wasn´t free. :3
If it was like a hundred dollars hell no. If it was the normal pricing for new games I’d most likely get it.
Well duh. That’s not the point, nor the question.
As far as the question – depending on the look of trailers and reviews, probably up to the $30 - $40 range. If I had to buy blind, maybe the $15 - $20 range. Much over forty bucks – BitTorrent.
40 bucks at the most.
20 bucks reduction for being a remake, but still very close to a full price title because of all the time and work put into it.
If I just saw it on steam one day with no ties to the community/Devs, I’d probably pay $20 to see what it was about, cause I love half life.
Honesty though, after being here for like, four or five years, I’d pay $60 no problem, even if it were a sudden release date surprise.
id pay 55 euro, i dont think its like am od its a complete game that was build well like 90% of it i gues
OVER 9000$!!!
Nah, probably around 50-60?
If it were a retail game in production? not much. It is a remake of an old game, so retail value it does not really have. The engine and graphics are a bit outdated by now, so that would not be a selling point either. It would be in the budget bin from the start and would not pay anything over 7-9 euro.
It is a MOD, and that makes it have this huge fanbase. I was there when it all began, and even I am starting to think the dev time is getting ridiculous. I can still picture the ‘2009’ trailer, and we’re halfway through 2011 already.
Ram how much would you pay for the mod if someone else was working on it?
why would i pre-order a game that wont be released?
I don’t think you grasp the scale of what this mod actually is.
Remake =/= remastering.
It’s not the same game.
It’s Half life like John Carpenter’s 1982 The Thing was Christian Nyby’s 1951 The Thing From Another World.
