How can we even answer without knowing how good the game would be in the end, if there’ll even be an end?

At the moment, I could just pay 2$ for the trailer. If BMS proved to be what we’d all hope for I wouldn’t mind paying as much as for a full new game because it’d be worth every cent. The fact that is a remake doesn’t cheapen at all its value in my opinion.

Most definitely. If you get to experience the game in its original form then it will only let you appreciate Black Mesa more.

Also, if Black Mesa gets cancelled or something, you at least did get to play HL1 anyway.

I generally never spend more than $40 on a game, it tends to be my max. In this case I’d certainly be willing to pay that. (After reading reviews of course)
