I’m suspecting that my machine is running a little high. Are there programs I’m supposed to install to monitor my laptop’s temperature (any suggestions)? And how would I know the temp is in the safe range? Thanks.

Yeah those numbers are very good, actually. Anytime your CPU is around 100°F (I assume that was idle) you should be happy. Hard drive is good for a laptop (desktops are usually in the low 30sC).

Temperature software are in built software in Laptop. If you want to check your Laptop temperature than just right click on your desktop and select personalize and gazettes option. If you have no option in your laptop like this than just download the temperature software from Internet.
