How can I make a moving ball?

I want to make a sphere, orb, ball, whatever ingame that moves when I shoot it or hit it. I made a ball, but how do I get it to not float in the air and move when i shoot it, like a soccer ball?

Step 1: Select the ball.
Step 2: Click CTRL-T.
Step 3: Choose func_physbox on the dropdown list.
Step 4: ???
Step 5: Profit.

You can play around with the settings.

That’s working on the assumption he’s talking about Hammer/Source. It’s kinda hard to tell…

What the hell does that mean?

It’s an internet meme.

It’s not working.
The ball is there, but when I hit it, it moves a tiny bit, but returns to its original position when I stop hitting it.
This in hammer, by the way.

meh just steal the bouncy ball from garrys mod and re-colour it.

did you script the model properly?
whats the collision box for the model like? should be pretty much a replica of the ball except a tiny bit bigger.
Im abit of a noob when it comes to this but i still managed to get a head to roll across teh room.
Just follow the tutorials

??? is the magical process whereby any arbitrary action becomes profitable to the one performing it.

Stop putting your nutsack in deep freeze.
