How can I make a model?

Like, what programs to use, and how to make it.
Let’s say I want to make a ‘cereal box’ you can pick up, and how could I make that cereal box, and make it so I can use it in Hammer?

I disagree that you need to be able to draw in order to model. If you’re modeling from existing reference (for example, cars, architecture, famous actors) its more or less irrelevant whether or not you can draw.

I think modeling is easier than drawing, because you edit a “solid” object and you can rotate it and it has a depth.

Well, it’s the same part of your brain. Anyone can model, but the dealbreaker is being able to…MODEL…

If you can’t make up something yourself, than you stop being a modeler, and become a 3d scanner.

Tell that to the tens of thousands of MODELERS in the game and film industry who are paid salaries to model characters and set pieces that they didn’t make up themselves. Or better yet, tell the Black Mesa art team they are all just “3d scanners” because they are remaking HL1 assets.
