I’m wondering if anyone has a clue as to what the xenobiology of the houndeye is with these little poop holes?
I see no anus so it could be that, but I also see no respiratory opening so they could be lung things like nostrils? I know this is a stupid question but i’m just wondering what other peoples ideas are.

There is also no mouth. What are they going to poop if they don’t eat? Or maybe they eat on one side and poop on the other.

Now, on to the topic. I’ve always thought the beak-like protuberance here, was the mouth:
I would hypothesize that the feature pointed out by tails is either a poop-shoot, breather-hole, or deceiving fold of flesh.
Would be cool to hear a modeler weigh in on the design!
