This is a classic right here. I’m expecting someone to make a post about how garpy is abusing movement glitches, whatever. But I can say with confidence that hldm wouldn’t even be half the game for me if it wasn’t for all the techniques and bugs that people coordinated into their gameplay. Just like how tribes and quake had movement bugs, which added to the gameplay in a positive way.

I’ve seen people who could navigate HLDM maps way faster. All that is possible in source but depends on whether it’s turned on or off server-side, and the weapon code I guess.
