HL2 EP3 theories

Turns out Dr. Breen was never dead, and when you are about to blow up the borealis, Breen comes and throws his shoe at you. As he beats Gordon to death with his own glasses, Lamarr pushes the red button which blows up the Borealis on say, 5 min and zombifies dr. Breen. Everybody’s happy but at the end, zombie-breen is shown drinking his private reserve with GLAdoS.

I predict that in ep3 gordon will go into a time machine and meet his younger self Ivan the space biker and together they will travel to the combine overworld and kill every living thing there in only 3 hours.

What about skeleton barney?

Since this threads gone to heck
How 'bout when Gordon destroys the Borealis the unstable portal technology sends him into another dimension
full
of
MARSHMELLOW MONSTARS!

Sounds like a good idea.

Topless Alyx!

Seriously guys, put the hooters back in First Person Shooters :stuck_out_tongue:

i believe there’s a downloadable model for that

Unfortunately, yes.
And AFAIK, it’s badly done, with more modifications to Alyx than should have been done.

In Half Life 2: episode 2 you are getting ready to go to the Boreallis,
which is made by Aperture Science, and it might contain portal technology
and info. Wich means you might get a HPD (Portal gun) in Ep 3!!!

I think the helicopter you go in will crash somewere in the north pole, you find a combine base and fight some new enimies (also might be in a gmod mount :3), you and Alyx find that Barney was captured and put in the base and you save him, and you three find the borialis and mossman dead with a tampon shoved up her throught, and you see Eli Vance as a ghost and he says 'Gordon, you must go to the Degobah system!) lol that was a joke…

no adrian shephard and no portal gun, please!

and by the way who are these newcomers?

Shit , double post! Stop lagging damn it!

im thinking something it may crossover with portal, and adrian shephard will appear

I think right after Gordon discovers he and Barney are brothers, Breen comes out and kills Barney. He attempts to go for Gordon next, but Gman’s tongue comes out and protects Gordon. Gordon then gets trapped in the Combine world and has to save Alyx from the evil monster with diabetes. Right before the game ends, you discover the monster is actually Gman trapped. In HL3, your main objective as Gordon is to find an appropriate diet for Gman.

was that supposed to be funny?

In the end of Portal 2, you discover that there is a ship called the Borealis, and so you find a teleport that takes you to it, and in so doing that, Alyx dies in a vacuum, and Chell is Gordon’s new sidekick.

/supposedtobefunny

hahahahahahaha  he he he … he eeeh … :expressionless: :frowning:

Thought that HL3 may be coming instead HL2-EP3
Each version of half-life were made by different engine…GoldSRC and Source…
and Half-life 2 series has come for a long period.
So new series of half-life should be come instead…

Im thai , so don’t mind my grammar using

The reasoning behind creating episodes, aside from speeding up game development and learning from their mistakes early, was to bring the Half-Life 2 storyline to an end that befit Half-Life 3 enough so that it would not be a disappointment. I speculate Valve plans for Half-Life to be a trilogy and, therefore, to hurry up the series’ storyline and progression so they could finish it with one, final, 12-15 game that will be Half-Life 3. There was still so much to be told in the story of Half-Life, so many enemies to be introduced, that it would require 4 games to complete. Valve, however, desires a trilogy, in my opinion, and the Episodes were created to get their storyline where they want it to be to make a great, final game; to get their 4th game in their desired trilogy crammed in between Half-Life 2 and 3 under the name of Half-Life 2 episodes.

An argument supporting my idea:

The episodes of Half-Life 2 are called Half-Life 2: Episode X as opposed to Half-Life 3: Episode X; there’s a plain fact here: it’s not Half-Life 3. In my opinion, they wish to end the Half-Life 2 storyline at a specific point, and a specific cliff-hanger large enough to make an epic final game, as the first Half-Life ended. Beginning Half-Life 3 where Half-Life 2: Episode 1 began wouldn’t do so well, in my opinion, because the players wouldn’t want to see that goddamned citadel or city 17 anymore–they would’ve hoped to end all that in Half-Life 2.

Concluding Episode 3 with the fate of the Borealis (whether it be destroyed or kept, which I’m positive will occur in Episode 3) is a great cliff-hanger that Valve can proceed with an infinite amount of ways, much of which would lead to satisfactory storylines.

That is why I believe Valve created the Half-Life 2 episodes and incidentally named it Half-Life 2: episode X as opposed to Half-Life 3: episode X.

What do you think?

Oh angry and spiteful devs, please hear my prayer. I pray to thee, in all your infinite wisdom and love of abusing power, please smite this thread, and the other threads similarly redundant, with an eternal lock (or forward) never to be posted in again, until the end of time, or the next server crash. Amen
