Where did this silly rumour come from? Half-Life 2: Episode 3, is the end of the current story arc, NOT the end of Gordon Freeman or his magical journeys through time and space. :freeman:

A lot of people expected Episode 3 to atleast be talked about at last year’s E3 too. I don’t know why some people got it in their heads that it might be at this year’s E3 after Valve’s portal 2 announcement. Valve probably isn’t going to talk about another future title when its trying to draw attention to the one coming out this year. I doubt they will say anything about it until 2011 at the very earliest.
Maybe you should play the episodes for once…If you haven’t even played them then you don’t have much to add
OMG I will :jizz: if it is revealed at E3. Battlefront 2 was one of my favorite games ever.
Anyway, I guess this is pretty much a consensus already, the list is clearly fake, but I really wish it weren’t. 
Also, Episode 3 is long overdue. At the very least I want to see something about it next year.

I seem to recall there was an interview with someone at Valve that stated that Ep3 would be the last HL game with Gordon as protagonist. I think If and When Half Life 3 comes out, Gordon will still be a key character, but he will be an NPC and another character will take the role as the hero. It could be Barney, or Shepard, or Chell, or someone completely new.
Err no. You didn’t hear that. They have never said (seriously anyways) that Gordon will be axed as the protagonist.

i wont pay for a half assed 3h half life 2 expansion, im hoping they go all out and go for half life 3.
I think there will be a new Orange Box, that will come with Portal 2 and some other games. For the consoles, after you leave it at the main menu for a while, it plays all the trailers of all the games, then it went back to the main menu, then played the first L4D trailer. If another Orange Box is going to be released, the hidden trailer could be of HL2: Ep3.
