HL2 Ep2 for $2

i got the orange box in exchange for untitled-1 copy.jpg

I first played the entire OB on PS3.

I was an instant fan, and it didn’t spoil the magic too badly, to be honest. Consoles are a good, trusty alternative for people with iffy computers (myself not entirely excluded). And I found the OB gave me an easy transition into PC gaming. Nuttin wrong wit consoles, IMO.

The EP3 sale’s nice, yo. I think it might actually tie-in to Portal 2, its not impossible. I first got the OB for PC their last Christmas sale, just for Valve to troll me with the New years sale… magnificent bastards.

My thoughts exactly.

At first, I nearly shat a brick thinking this could be related to Ep.3.

Then I realized Valve’s just trolling err’ body.

What? Where?

Whatever is the reason for this, I highly doubt it has anything to do with Ep3, or HL3. It would be stupid to tease people with another greatly anticipated game, when Portal 2 is about to be released.

On the contrary, I for myself am awaiting any kind of announcement of Ep3, very soon.

this fall it will have been 4 years… so… almost 4 years.

If they had just fixed all of the bugs that the game launched with, I would have been happy. Some of the PC content would have been awesome, but playing as a demoman and having your grenades and stickies fall through the level sucked.

actually ep2 has come onto the top sellers list, so i suppose it wasn’t true to say that everone who wanted it had it

yeah, this is my first Steam Purchase, played through the orange box originally on a friend’s account,
figured I should get me some source SDK base in case someone ever does a remake of the original HL on source.

I have a feeling that this might actually have something to do with Episode 3.

After all, they gave away Portal for free, and then Portal 2 came out.

Nah, it was just a random sale. Did you see how nothing else came out of it?

GDC Doesn’t start til the 28th

It’s an obvious hint, but no one can know for sure.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
