HL: overrated or not, aka. HL3 the savior or a failure?

In Crysis, it’s a SUIT. Not a human anymore, if I understand the story right.

In Half-Life, it’s a HUMAN IN A SUIT. Big difference. Built in GravGun, I’d like. Ultra mega super badass suit thingy, not so much.

Well, even AC3 now has invisibility cloak :expressionless:

But The Nanosuit sucks, why not to make an Ironman from Gordon, a crowbar is passe, hopefully it uses the Combine’s dark energy for some amazing feats like jetpack, laser beams and even automatic turrets :retard:

Seriously, some upgrades like improved mobility I would have nothing against, but HEV suit should stay “his other skin” and that’s it.

Maaaybe upgraded long jump module, which would also allow for usage as a high jump module?

Let’s put that in a list, it’s starting to be reallly interesting.

The final showdown is going to involve Gordon donning an HEV mecha-spacesuit and teleporting the Borealis into space or something, sacrificing himself to ensure that it will never be used for non-space-related evil.

Gordon is killed but before he dies his mind is uploaded into dog and then he goes on a killing rampage because he will never get to do it with alyx

I guess people are too bored already from waiting for the BM update or something.

Aw come on, that discussion was great.

For weirdo’s, sure.

You must be new here.

Clearly, you haven’t been here long enough. Everyone here is a weirdo, and proud of it. It’s what makes this community awesome. I do miss some of the vitrol though, because even that got funny sometimes.

Yeah, the vitriol and flaming and the strange discussion of robot on rebel forbidden love. All gone by the wayside because of newly empowered mods. Remember the salad days of the forum, two or three unbacked up crashes ago, when the lead developer was the most vitriolic, flame spewing person here. Yeah, those were the good ol’ days. new members would come along and say something incredibly stupid, and then the citizens of the BMS forums would rise in unison to dispense fiery justice. Yeah, those were the days…

It was great… those pre-release days…

Goddamn this oldfags

Then he’ll meet Wheatley. Black Aperture will now be formed.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
